The MAJOR TDR wide area mower is a multipurpose low-maintenance trailed rotary mower, designed to manage parklands, sports pitches and semi-rough golf course grass. The three-point pivot frame allows the three decks to glide over the ground contours to achieve a perfect finish without scalping. The MAJOR TDR is available in 4.9m and 6.1m working widths.
The cutting rotors are fitted with two 5mm blades of optimum hardness and strength. The blades are designed to lift the grass and hold it inside the cutting chamber allowing the material to be chopped finely.

The blades are synchronised to rotate in opposite directions and overlap each other by 75mm. This overlap, in combination with high blade tip speeds ensures that all vegetation is finely cut and evenly dispersed to leave a professional striped finish equivalent to that of a cylinder mower.
The gear-driven drive line delivers consistent cutting rates, even in heavy and wet conditions. The wings fold neatly to give a 2.5m transport width for safe transportation on public highways.
The MAJOR TDR is produced from high-performance Strenx™ 700 MC structural steel. This material is stronger yet lighter than conventional mild steel. This results in reduced soil compaction and lower fuel costs without compromising the strength of the machine.
The machine is galvanised for the ultimate protection against corrosion, to safeguard your investment.
